Ana Fernandez is a Spanish actress. Recent roles include Carlota on the Netflix series Cable Girls. Ana Kristina Gasteyer, an American singer and actress is also a stand-up comedian. She was best known for being a part of the NBC comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live in 1996-2002. Since then, she has been on sitcoms like ABC's Suburgatory TBS's People of Earth and NBC's American Auto. She also was a part of the film Mean Girls. She began her career as a Northwestern University voice student, after which she switched to acting, when she became involved in the improv troupe on campus. Gasteyer has carried that same attitude throughout a variety of the supporting roles of Sheila Shay from Suburgatory (as the overly domineering Sheila Shay) and Karen Grisham as the eccentric agent on Lady Dynamite.
